These info-panels are more like smart clocks that can also show information like temperature, humidity, presence of roommates, notifications about devices (dishwasher, washing machine, …).

I even added a pull-up counter to our bar in the hallway. Now we can have statistics about that as well.

After building the first one without any enclosure in the Hallway, i decided to add a very long one to the kitchen window behind a white 3D-Printed wall. This way you don’t even see it, if its off, because it just blends in with the window.

Having some MAX7219 modules left over i just build a small bathroom clock to display humidity, temperature. I recently found out that my toothbrush is sending alot of information over bluetooth (WTF!). I could easily add this to my Home Assistant and show that also on that clock.
